MCC was founded by Mr. Bertram R.C. Rickmers together with partners.

MCC took over its first vessel, the MV "Patricia Rickmers", as disponent owner.

MCC took over the function as passenger agency for Rickmers Group.

The chartering activities of MCC and Rickmers-Linie were consolidated under the roof of MCC.
